Pension Plan for Members of Parliament

73.4 Pension Plan for Members of Parliament

RESOLVED, That the National Council of Women of Canada petition all individual Members of Parliament, Party Leaders, and the Prime Minister to revise the pension plan for Members of Parliament so that it will be a supplement to the income of the ex-member of Parliament during old age, the pension such Members receive to begin when the Canadian pensionable age of retirement is reached and that it be limited to those who have served at least six years in Parliament.
